HOUSE RESOLUTION

 

 

Relating to caucus leaders and committee membership of the house of representatives of the thirty-first legislature.

 

 

 

                BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the Thirty-First Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2021, that this body acknowledge and recognize the Minority Leader, the Minority Floor Leader, the Assistant Minority Leader and the Minority Policy Leader listed below who were duly elected by the minority caucus:

 

MINORITY LEADER                         VAL OKIMOTO

 

MINORITY FLOOR LEADER                   LAUREN MATSUMOTO

 

ASSISTANT MINORITY LEADER               BOB MCDERMOTT

 

MINORITY POLICY LEADER                  GENE WARD

 

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Representative GENE WARD shall no longer be a member of the Committee on Legislative Management; and shall remain a member of the Committee on Culture, Arts & International Affairs; Committee on Government Reform; Committee on Health, Human Services & Homelessness; Committee on Judiciary & Hawaiian Affairs; and Committee on Pandemic & Disaster Preparedness; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Representative VAL OKIMOTO shall be a member of the Committee on Legislative Management; and shall remain a member of the Committee on Economic Development; Committee on Education; Committee on Higher Education & Technology; and Committee on Labor & Tourism; and   

 

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as amended by this Resolution, all appointments and committee memberships of the House of Representatives as set forth in HR 4 and adopted by the House of Representatives of the Thirty-First Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2021, shall remain in full force and effect.
