STATE OF HAWAII

A BILL FOR AN ACT

relating to acquisition of real property.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $9,000,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2019-2020 for the purchase of the following parcels of the Molokai Dow DuPont Pioneer Land: tax map key number (2)5-2-11-7; provided that the price does not exceed the amount appropriated.

The sum appropriated shall be expended by the agribusiness development corporation for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2019.
