A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE EIGHTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2019-2020.
1. To be expended by the department of education:
A. Henry Perrine Baldwin high school, Maui
Plans and design for new locker rooms; ground and site improvements.

B. Henry Perrine Baldwin high school, Maui
Design and construction to install six large fans in the gymnasium for heat abatement; ground and site improvements; and equipment and appurtenances.

C. Iao intermediate school, Maui
Design and construction to renovate building C to create more classrooms; and ground and site improvements.
Design $199,925

D. Iao intermediate school, Maui
Design and construction to renovate and repair the band building; ground and site improvements; and equipment and appurtenances.

E. Waihee elementary school, Maui
Design and construction for various port drainage improvements and flood mitigation; ground and site improvements; and equipment and appurtenances.

F. Wailuku elementary school, Maui
Design and construction to install campus-wide air conditioning systems; ground and site improvements; and equipment and appurtenances.

Construction to replace the building's windows; ground and site improvements; and equipment and appurtenances.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2019.
