Summary
Establishes a pilot project within the department of land and natural resources to demonstrate the effectiveness of marine phytoremediation using plants that are native to Hawaii to remove pollutants and improve water clarity in Lake Wilson; appropriates funds for the project. Requires the department of land and natural resources to procure services for the pilot project pursuant to the Hawaii public procurement code. (SD1)
