RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Miranda Klein for outstanding public service; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Miranda Klein has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the
vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to
the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
she has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time,
talents, and energy toward the betterment of this state as evidenced
dramatically by her superlative service with the Office of the Governor;
and
WHEREAS,
Miranda Klein has served with honor and distinction as Director of Constituent
Services for Governor Sonny Perdue, providing outstanding aid with legal and
legislative matters; leading the Office of Constituent Services response to
public contacts; preparing and editing correspondence; coordinating meetings,
business, and messages from the Office of the Governor and on behalf of members
of the General Assembly on a variety of agency policy and public issues;
providing essential information to members of the General Assembly; and
assisting both the Governor and members of the General Assembly with legislative
support; and
WHEREAS,
her significant organizational and leadership talents, her remarkable patience
and diplomacy, her keen sense of vision, and her sensitivity to the needs of the
citizens of this state have earned her the respect and admiration of her
colleagues and associates; and
WHEREAS,
Miranda Klein has served meticulously in all her duties, approached each task
with determination and professionalism, and has served as a friendly and helpful
member of the Office of the Governor's staff; and
WHEREAS,
members of the General Assembly are incredibly grateful and appreciative of the
dedicated and effective service each member of the Governor's Office staff has
provided them over the years; and
WHEREAS,
Miranda Klein's vision and unyielding commitment have set the standard for
public service, and the assistance provided to the General Assembly has ensured
a smooth and efficient legislative process; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Miranda Klein for her efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public
service to the State of Georgia; recognize the amazing service she has provided
the Office of the Governor and the members of the General Assembly; and extend
to her their most sincere best wishes for continued health and
happiness.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Miranda Klein.
