A RESOLUTION


Congratulating Bernard Reynolds and Ellen Williams; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Bernard Reynolds and Ellen Williams were united in love and marriage on February 7, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Bernard Reynolds earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Georgia and a master's degree in business administration from Brenau University and currently serves as the Principal of the Atlanta based Reynolds Public Affairs LLC; and

WHEREAS, Ellen Williams earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, graduated from law school at the University of Georgia, and currently serves as President of Williams Consulting Group; and

WHEREAS, these distinguished Georgians have worked tirelessly at the state capitol to improve the quality of life for all Georgians through their work in advocacy, strategic advice, and expertise in policy issues; and

WHEREAS, their enduring love and affection for one another and the unyielding strength of their relationship with each other have been an unparalleled inspiration to the members of their family and their friends; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that their loving devotion and the lifelong commitment these special people have undertaken be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body extend their warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to Bernard Reynolds and Ellen Williams on the joyous occasion of their wedding, commend them for their deep level of unselfish devotion to one another, and extend to them best wishes for a lifetime of continued health and happiness.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Bernard Reynolds and Ellen Williams.
