RESOLUTION
Commending
Yolanda Hutson for being named a 2012 Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy
Education delegate; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Yolanda Hutson has been named a 2012 Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy
Education (EAGLE) delegate for outstanding achievements and pursuit of
excellence; and
WHEREAS,
the EAGLE Program from the Technical College System of Georgia's Office of Adult
Education recognizes the men and women of Georgia who have overcome life's
obstacles and challenges to pursue their dream of lifelong learning;
and
WHEREAS,
instructors from Georgia's local adult education programs nominate their best
students for the EAGLE delegate competition from among more than 65,000 adult
learners, yet only 31 deserving students earn state-wide EAGLE recognition based
on their excellent character, positive attitude, superb classroom attendance,
and outstanding leadership; and
WHEREAS,
Georgia's 2012 EAGLE delegates are considered ambassadors and spokespersons for
adult education, and they deserve to be applauded for their exceptional personal
achievements and admired as adult education role models for their families,
friends, co-workers, and fellow citizens.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend and congratulate Yolanda Hutson for being named a 2012
Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education delegate.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Yolanda
Hutson.
