A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to state government, so as to provide for pari-mutuel wagering or betting on horse racing in this state; to provide for the comprehensive regulation of such activities; to provide for legislative intent; to provide for definitions; to provide for the establishment of the Georgia Racing Commission; to provide for the membership, terms of office, filling of vacancies, qualifications, duties, and responsibilities of the members of such commission; to provide for the legal representation of such commission; to provide for commission staff and employees; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
