Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 1 of Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions relative to state government, so as to enact the "Georgia Daylight Savings Act"; to provide that this state shall at all times observe the standard time of the United States; to exempt this state from the daylight savings advancement of time provisions of the United States Code; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
