Summary
A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 5 of Title 21 and Part 1 of Article 2 of Chapter 10 of Title 45 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions for ethics in government and general provisions for conflicts of interest, respectively, so as to change provisions relating to membership on the State Ethics Commission; to provide the State Ethics Commission with jurisdiction to hear and investigate matters and issue orders relating to violations involving conflicts of interest; to provide for procedure; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
