Florida Senate - 2021 SB 1652 By Senator Pizzo 38-01663A-21 20211652__ 1 A bill to be entitled 2 An act relating to anchoring limitation areas; 3 amending s. 327.4108, F.S.; designating specified 4 waterways in densely populated urban areas as 5 anchoring limitation areas; providing an effective 6 date. 7 8 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9 10 Section 1. Paragraph (c) of subsection (1) of section 11 327.4108, Florida Statutes, is amended, and paragraphs (d) and 12 (e) are added to that subsection, to read: 13 327.4108 Anchoring of vessels in anchoring limitation 14 areas.— 15 (1) The following densely populated urban areas, which have 16 narrow state waterways, residential docking facilities, and 17 significant recreational boating traffic, are designated as 18 anchoring limitation areas: 19 (c) The sections of Biscayne Bay in Miami-Dade County, as 20 followslying between: 21 1. Between Rivo Alto Island and Di Lido Island. 22 2. Between San Marino Island and San Marco Island. 23 3. Between San Marco Island and Biscayne Island. 24 4. Surfside, south of 88th Street/Biscaya Drive and north 25 of Stillwater in Miami Beach. 26 5. Biscaya Lake in Surfside. 27 6. Indian Creek Lake between Indian Creek and Bay Harbor 28 Islands. 29 (d) North and South Lake areas of Hollywood in Broward 30 County. 31 (e) Lake Sylvia in Broward County. 32 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2021.
