Summary

Exempting from permit requirements certain projects that provide for removal of detrital material from certain freshwater rivers or lakes if a governmental agency sponsors or participates in the project and certain additional conditions are met; requiring that the district office of the Department of Environmental Protection be notified before work commences; prohibiting the department from charging a fee for detrital material that is removed; authorizing the use of sovereignty submerged lands for the purposes authorized by the act, etc.
