Summary

Revises provisions relating to petitions and court orders awarding the temporary custody of a child to an extended family member, to also provide for concurrent custody with the parents of the child. Provides that if a parent objects to a petition for concurrent custody, the court may not grant the petition and must give the petitioner the option of converting the petition to one for temporary custody, etc.
