Summary

Provides enforcement authority relating to public health emergency orders issued by DOH; authorizes DOH to declare, enforce, modify, and abolish isolation of persons, animals, and premises for controlling communicable diseases; requires DOH to establish rules relating to isolation order; prohibits person from falsely claiming to health care provider, or falsely reporting to law enforcement officer, that such person has contracted a communicable disease; provides criminal penalties; specifies that act fulfills important state interest.
