       Senator Hays moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Between lines 94 and 95
    4  insert:
    5         (g) Before a physician orders low-THC cannabis for a
    6  patient, the patient or, if the patient is younger than 18 years
    7  of age, his or her parent or guardian, shall sign a notarized
    8  statement stating that he or she has been informed of the risks
    9  and that he or she is surrendering any future action against the
   10  physician due to any event or illness that may be caused by the
   11  administration of such low-THC cannabis.
