House . . . . . ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— The Committee on Rules (Broxson) recommended the following: 1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 2 3 Between lines 47 and 48 4 insert: 5 For purposes of this subsection, an insurer may designate in 6 writing a surplus lines agent to provide a loss run statement to 7 an insured. 8 9 ================= T I T L E A M E N D M E N T ================ 10 And the title is amended as follows: 11 Delete lines 2 - 11 12 and insert: 13 An act relating to loss run statements; amending s. 14 626.9202, F.S.; revising the definition of the term 15 “loss run statement”; specifying the entities that 16 must receive requests for loss run statements; 17 specifying that insurers must provide loss run 18 statements under certain circumstances; authorizing 19 insurers to designate surplus lines agents to provide 20 loss run statements to insureds; revising the required 21 claims history in loss run statements; providing 22 applicability; limiting loss run statement requests 23 with respect to group health insurance policies to 24 group policyholders; amending s. 627.444, F.S.; 25 revising the definition of the term “loss run 26 statement”; specifying the entities that must receive 27 requests for loss run statements; specifying that 28 insurers must provide loss run statements under 29 certain circumstances; revising the required claims 30 history in loss run statements; providing 31 applicability; limiting loss run statement requests 32 with respect to group health insurance policies to 33 group policyholders; repealing s.
