Summary
This Senate Joint Resolution expresses the heartfelt condolences and prayers of all Delawareans to the citizens of our Sister State of Miyagi Prefecture for their losses due to the recent earthquake and related disasters. It further urges Delawareans to contribute to the “Delaware Fund for Miyagi, Japan”, recently established by Governor Jack A. Markell, the Delaware Department of State and the Delaware Community Foundation, and to give generously of their time and talent in assisting relief and recovery efforts.
