Summary
As introduced Bill 25-546 would provide for the issuance of grants to local news outlets through the creation of a system of coupons that may be allocated by registered voters to the news outlets of their choice. News outlets would be required to hold grant funds in a separate account pending their expenditure. Among other things it would establish the Community Journalism Board as an independent executive branch agency to administer the provisions of this act.
