AN ACT CONCERNING THE LABELING OF CERTAIN RETAIL GROCERY ITEMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require retail grocery items sold in Connecticut to be clearly marked "Reduced Size" or "New Smaller Size" whenever the size, weight or volume of such items have been reduced.
Statement of Purpose:
To alert consumers when the size, weight or volume of retail grocery items have been reduced.
