AN ACT REQUIRING STATE-OWNED BUILDINGS TO COMPLY WITH THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require all state-owned buildings open to public access to comply with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, not later than July 1, 2018.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the accessibility of state-owned buildings to members of the public.
