AN ACT REQUIRING THE COMMISSIONER OF REVENUE SERVICES TO ANALYZE AND IDENTIFY NUISANCE TAXES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the Commissioner of Revenue Services shall analyze the state's taxes and submit a report to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to finance, revenue and bonding that identifies and recommends "nuisance" taxes to be repealed.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide tax relief by requiring the Commissioner of Revenue Services to identify and recommend "nuisance" taxes to be repealed.
