AN ACT CONCERNING ADDICTION-RELATED PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That (1) title 17b of the general statutes be amended to increase the Medicaid reimbursement rate for addiction-related psychiatric services, and (2) title 10a of the general statutes be amended to provide loan forgiveness for graduates of a medical school who provide addiction-related psychiatric services in the state and remain employed the field for not less than five years.

Statement of Purpose:

To incentivize greater access to addiction recovery services in the state.
