AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL WORK SERVICES IN SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That, notwithstanding any provisions of the general statutes, all social work services provided by local and regional boards of education be transferred to nonprofit, community-based providers.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide municipal expense relief by privatizing school social workers.
