AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY ALTERNATIVE FUNDING SOURCES FOR NUTRITIONAL SERVICES FOR SENIORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to establish a task force to study alternate funding sources for nutritional services for seniors, including, but not limited to, private funding. Members of the task force shall include, but not be limited to: (1) A member of the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to aging, (2) representatives of area agencies on aging, (3) a representative from the Department of Social Services, and (4) a representative from the Department on Aging.
Statement of Purpose:
To study alternate funding sources for nutrition programs for the elderly.
