AN ACT CONCERNING CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE STATE EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 5-156a of the general statutes be amended to require the state to contribute no less than eight-five per cent of the actuarial cost of current service to the State Employees Retirement Fund with the goal that the state contribute one hundred per cent of such cost to such fund.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the future obligations of the state pension fund.
