AN ACT REQUIRING CONSULTATION BETWEEN THE CONNECTICUT HEALTH INSURANCE EXCHANGE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND THE INSURANCE DEPARTMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange board of directors to consult with the Insurance Department to consult when negotiating premiums with health carriers offering or seeking to offer qualified health plans through the exchange.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange board of directors to consult with the Insurance Department to consult when negotiating premiums with health carriers offering or seeking to offer qualified health plans through the exchange.
