AN ACT CONCERNING ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAMS AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR REMEDIAL COLLEGE PREPARATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-69 of the general statutes be amended to permit a student who has been issued a high school diploma to enroll in an adult education program for the purpose of remedial preparation for college.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide a less expensive option for remedial college preparation by allowing students who need additional preparation for a college program to enroll in an adult education program.
