AN ACT CONCERNING REFORM OF THE STATE EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require all new employees entering state service to participate in a defined contribution benefit plan rather than the current defined benefit system.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide tangible taxpayer relief by reforming the state employees retirement system.
