AN ACT ELIMINATING RISK REDUCTION CREDIT FOR VIOLENT CRIMINALS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 18-98e of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any person sentenced for a violent offense from earning risk reduction credit toward a reduction in such person's sentence.

Statement of Purpose:

To prohibit any person sentenced for a violent offense from earning risk reduction credit toward a reduction in such person's sentence.
