AN ACT INCREASING THE PREVAILING WAGE THRESHOLD FOR MUNICIPAL PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 31-53 of the general statutes be amended to increase the threshold amounts for municipal public works projects to abide by prevailing wage laws to one million dollars for new construction and five hundred thousand dollars for remodeling, refinishing, refurbishing, rehabilitation, alteration or repair work.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide property tax relief by raising the threshold amount for municipal prevailing wage projects.
