AN ACT CONCERNING THE DUTIES OF THE CONNECTICUT HEALTH INSURANCE EXCHANGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to direct the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange to actively negotiate, on behalf of consumers, health insurance premiums with insurers for qualified health plans offered through the exchange.
Statement of Purpose:
To direct the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange to actively negotiate, on behalf of consumers, health insurance premiums with insurers for qualified health plans offered through the exchange.
