AN ACT CONCERNING AN INCENTIVE PROGRAM FOR MUNICIPALITIES TO CONVERT STREETLIGHTS TO SOLAR POWER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to create an incentive program for municipalities to convert streetlights that they own to solar power.
Statement of Purpose:
To create an incentive program for municipalities to convert streetlights to solar power to reduce street lighting electrical expenses in towns.
