AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPALITIES AND URBAN STABILIZATION BONDS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities, for the next four years, to issue urban stabilization bonds for maximum terms of thirty years for both new and refunding bonds.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow municipalities the limited option to use urban stabilization bonds with a maximum term of thirty years to provide debt service relief to Connecticut municipalities.
