AN ACT CONCERNING THE RETENTION OF JEWELRY BY DEALERS IN PRECIOUS METALS AND STONES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (l) of section 21-100 of the general statutes be amended to increase the retention of jewelry by any dealer in precious metals and stones from five days to six days.
Statement of Purpose:
To require that dealers in precious metals and stones hold jewelry for at least six days.
