AN ACT CONCERNING A REFERENDUM BY RESIDENTS OF THE THOMPSONVILLE FIRE DISTRICT TO PURCHASE PROPERTY OR CONSTRUCT A NEW FIRE STATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the charter of the Thompsonville Fire District be amended to require a referendum when the district's commissioners and fire chief decide to purchase property or construct a new fire station.
Statement of Purpose:
To require district-wide approval for the purchase of property or construction of a new fire station in the Thompsonville Fire District.
