AN ACT CONCERNING SAFETY AND CERTIFICATION STANDARDS FOR THE SPRAY FOAM INSULATION INDUSTRY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Consumer Protection, in consultation with the commissioners of Public Health and Energy and Environmental Protection, shall adopt regulations, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54 of the general statutes, to develop safety and certification standards for the spray foam insulation industry.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

To protect the health and safety of spray foam insulation installers and their customers.
