AN ACT CONCERNING THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDING FOR THE VACCINATION, STERILIZATION AND HEART WORM TESTING OF DOGS AND CATS OWNED BY LOW INCOME PERSONS OR ADOPTED FROM MUNICIPAL OR REGIONAL SHELTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to increase the availability of funds from animal population control programs for the sterilization, vaccination and heart worm testing of cats and dogs owned by low income persons or adopted from municipal or regional animal shelters.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide increased funding for the sterilization, vaccination and heart worm testing of certain cats and dogs.
