AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE TAX ABATEMENTS TO ENCOURAGE RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 12-65b and 12-65c of the general statutes be amended to expand the authority of municipalities to abate taxes to encourage residential development.
Statement of Purpose:
To give municipalities greater authority to provide tax abatements in order to encourage residential development.
