AN ACT CONCERNING RETAIL DISCOUNTS AND METHODS OF PAYMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (c) of section 42-133ff of the general statutes be amended to require sellers to offer discounts equally to buyers paying by cash, debit card, check or similar means.
Statement of Purpose:
To require retail sellers to offer discounts equally to buyers paying by cash, debit card, check or similar means.
