AN ACT REQUIRING A COST-BENEFIT ANALYSIS OF STATE TAX EXPENDITURES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to mandate that the Office of Policy and Management and the legislative Office of Fiscal Analysis conduct a cost-benefit analysis of all state tax expenditures every five years, beginning in fiscal year 2012, and that this report be submitted to the Governor and legislature.
Statement of Purpose:
To conduct a cost-benefit analysis of all state tax expenditures.
