AN ACT PROHIBITING DRUG FELONS FROM RECEIVING SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE BENEFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-105c of the general statutes be amended to permanently prevent a person convicted of a drug felony from receiving supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent the abuse of taxpayer-funded services and to instill integrity and accountability in such services.
