AN ACT CONCERNING CERTIFICATION FOR PERSONS WHO DECONTAMINATE SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 20 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Consumer Protection to issue a certification for technicians who decontaminate surgical instruments and other health care equipment.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the number of persons effected by cross-contamination and infection in surgical settings.
