AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING OF STATE MANDATES TO LOCAL GOVERNMENTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to provide that the state reimburse local governments for the cost of complying with future state mandates enacted after passage of each act.

Statement of Purpose:

To require the state to fund new unfunded mandates imposed on local governments.
