AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE OF A DEBIT CARD TO ISSUE A TAX REFUND.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Department of Revenue Services from requiring that tax refunds be provided to taxpayers by means of a debit card.

Statement of Purpose:

To prohibit the Department of Revenue Services from requiring taxpayers to receive their tax refunds by means of debit cards.
