AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION'S AUTHORITY TO DESIGNATE ADDITIONAL STORMWATER SEWER SYSTEMS OUTSIDE OF URBAN AREAS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 22a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection from designating municipal separate stormwater sewer systems outside of urban areas that are not otherwise required by federal law.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection from going beyond what is required under federal law in designating stormwater sewer systems outside of urban areas.
