AN ACT CONCERNING TIMETABLES FOR MUNICIPAL BINDING ARBITRATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. Subdivision (7) of subsection (b) of section 7-473c of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 1, 2010):

(7) The parties [may jointly] shall not file with the panel stipulations modifying, deferring or waiving any [or all provisions] provision of this subsection.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
Section 1	October 1, 2010	7-473c(b)(7)

Statement of Purpose:

To provide rigid timelines for the completion of municipal binding arbitrations.
