AN ACT CONCERNING MINIMUM LONGEVITY REQUIREMENTS FOR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require an employee to be employed by their employer for at least thirty days before becoming eligible for unemployment benefits.
Statement of Purpose:
To require that employees be employed for a period of thirty days before they become eligible to file a claim for unemployment benefits.
