AN ACT INCREASING SUBSIDIZED FARMERS' MARKET COUPONS FOR SENIOR CITIZENS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 22-6q of the general statutes be amended to increase funding for the Connecticut Farmers' Market/Senior Nutrition Program in order to increase the amount of the vouchers issued under said program from eighteen dollars to twenty-five dollars.
Statement of Purpose:
To enable senior citizens to have greater access to nutritional foods.
