AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL AID FUNDING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That one-quarter of one per cent of the state sales tax be dedicated to restoring funding to municipal aid programs, including the Mashantucket Pequot and Mohegan Fund; payments in lieu of taxes for the tax-exempt property of private colleges, hospitals and the state; and state aid for special education.
Statement of Purpose:
To dedicate one-quarter of one per cent of the state sales tax to restoring funding to municipal aid programs.
