AN ACT REPEALING THE TAX ON AMBULATORY SURGICAL CENTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 211a of the general statutes be amended to repeal the tax on ambulatory surgical centers.
Statement of Purpose:
To maintain patient access and cost savings currently realized by patients, employers and government payers when surgical care is provided within community-based ambulatory surgical centers by repealing the tax on such centers.
